About the Partnership
The Partnership For A Safer Cleveland provides an array of services to the City of Cleveland, and its departments - connecting city and county agencies, assisting in conference planning, facilitating groups, training, educating and evaluating. Serving on a variety of committees over the years, the Partnership has dedicated countless hours of time, talent and expertise.
The Partnership is able to make things happen quickly, from problem to solution, from idea to implementation; the turnaround time is greatly reduced. The Partnership is efficient and cost-effective. The Partnership provides three basic forms of service to public agencies:
For more than 20 years, the Partnership has provided indirect service for the needs of many city departments, as well as making long-term commitments to numerous committees. These requests for service have not been budgeted by the City of Cleveland and the requests do not always come with enough lead-time for the Partnership to apply for government contracts or foundation grants. Over time, the Partnership has supported these consulting services with our unrestricted operating funds. As funders reduce unrestricted support, the Partnership finds it necessary to revise our funding structure and to seek a contract in advance for such services or change to a membership structure to allow agencies to retain our services. |
